ABSTRACT

Three quarter laryngectomy is not a frequently performing procedure of laryngeal cancer because of tumor recurrence, aspiration and respiratory difficulty, etc. But in young patient who requires good cosmetic result or sufficient voice, it is sometimes held by some laryngologists. The authors have performed 2 cases of three quarter laryngectomy with laryngeal reconstruction by use of strap muscles and pectoralis major myocutanous muscle in supraglottic cancer and pyriform sinus cancer of hypopharynx. There were no specific problems during 3 years following and we reported with review of literatures.
