Auditory brainstem responses were recorded by conventional scalp electrode in same age adults. Interwave latency (I-V, I-III and III-V) was not statistically difference with change in intensity of click as shown in table 2. Latency of one of the major response components (wave V) varied in linear fashion with change in intensity of clicks, that is corelated to prolongation of wave I as shown in table 1 and fig. 1. The demonstrated reliability of these auditory brainstem response provide the basis as an objective method for assessing hearing in adults.
