ABSTRACT

Since the early part of 20th century, the many authors claim that eosinophilia is found in nasal secretion and blood of allergic diseases, as today, that is established as a fact, and recent evidence based on extensive investigation suggests that the eosinophil may play an active role in allergic disease. Thus, I report that the following changes of nasal eosinophils in nasal allergy according to specific hyposensitization and the following results were obtained ; 1. The eosinophilia was 52.8 percent in nasal allegy. 2. The eosinophilic count was gradually decreased in the number due to S.D.V. hyposensitization.
