ABSTRACT

Malignant fibrous histiocytoma(MFH) is a sarcoma that occurs principally in the soft tissue and typically involves skeletal muscle and deep fascia. The MFH shows a broad range of histologic appearance, so it is divided into the several subtype and the storiform-pleomorphic type is the most common. The authors have recently experienced a case of MFH affecting the sternocleidomastoid muscle of fifty-three year old woman. So, we reported the one case with review of literatures.
