A Case of Cholesterol Granuloma of the Maxillary Antrum

ABSTRACT

The cholesterol granuloma is formed by poor ventilation in a usually pneumatized space. A 32 year-old male patient was diagnosed as cholesterol granuloma of the maxillary antrum by history, physical examination, radiologic studies and histopatholgic examination. The cholesterol granuloma was removed successfully by Caldwell-Luc operation. So author report this case with review of literature.
