ABSTRACT

Laryngeal neurilemmoma is very rare benign tumor, that arises from the Schwann cell sheath of the nerve fibers. It is typically solitary and mostly smooth, rounded and encapsulated. Recently we have experienced one case of neurilemmoma of the larynx. The tumor was completely removed under the general anesthesia by lateral thyrotomy and varified histopathologically as neurilemmoma of the larynx.
