ABSTRACT

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a disease associated with otalgia, vesicular eruption on the involved side, facial paralysis, hearing disturbance, tinnitus, vertigo and other symptoms. Recently the authors experienced a case of Ramsay Hunt syndrome which had V, VII, VIII, IX, X cranial nerve involvement. The patient was treated with antiviral agent, vidarabine-5-monophosphate, steroid with complete remission of pain, resolution of facial palsy and other symptoms.
