ABSTRACT

Two cases of the monostotic fibrous dysplasia of the maxillary bone were reported with review of literatures. Fibrous dysplasia of the maxillary bone is a relatively rare condition characterized by fibrous tissue replacement of the skeleton and there's change of contour on face when the disease process involves on the maxillary bone. One case occurred in 14 year-old girl, involved on the right maxillary bone and another case involved on the left maxillary bone in 13 year-old girl.
