ABSTRACT

Kimura's disease is an unusual benign vascular tumor characterized clinically by solitary or multiple subcutaneous or dermal nodules, localized mainly in the head and neck of young adults. Histopathologically, the lesions are characterized by numerous lymphoid follicles with proliferation of post-capillary venules lined by plump endothelium and a marked eosinophilic infiltration. We experienced a case of Kimura's disease occuring in the submandibular and anterior neck triangle area of a 58 year old male patient who was treated with surgical excision.
